OUR MOVEMENT

Gethsemane is more than a church — we are a movement of prayer, surrender, and revival. Rooted in the heart of Jesus Christ, we are committed to raising Christ-like disciples who live with integrity, walk in compassion, and boldly share the Gospel. Inspired by the place of surrender, we choose God’s will above our own and seek His presence above all else. Our vision is to see lives transformed, families restored, and our nation impacted through prayer, discipleship, and practical love in action.

Anton V Rajamani - Missionary

Gethsemane Gospel Church was founded in 1989 by Apostle Rev. Dr. Gnanam Rajamani and his beloved wife, Jaya Rajamani. Church was launched out Slave Island, in Sri Lanka. Since those early days, started with 6 members.
With a deep calling from God, they began this ministry to proclaim the Gospel, nurture believers, and serve the community with faith and dedication. Late Apostle Rev. Dr. Gnanam Rajamani was a devoted servant of God and a loving father of four children—three sons and one daughter. Though he has gone to be with the Lord, his vision and faithful service continue to guide the church.
In 2013 He appointed Rev Anton V Rajamani as a President of Gethsemane Gospel Church.
Now it has grown to include over 65 branches in Sri Lanka, 17 churches out of the country. Our DNA is To glorify God by fulfilling the Great Commission through church planting among the nations. Sharing the love and message of Jesus, caring for one another, and using the gifts and abilities that God has given us to make our city a better place to live! We have always been, and will continue to be a community that serves as a hub for our local community.
